For Watermelon: Using the black embroidery floss and yarn needle, tie the floss around a few stitches. Once you have done that you are done.

For Lemon, Lime or Orange: Thread a yarn needle with white embroidery floss about arms length.
Start at the white edge: work forward toward the center making four loops around each stitch. once you get to the center make a few loops around the inner most stitch and begin working your way back out toward the white edge again, making about four loops around each stitch.

I repeated this process with the embroidery floss until I had five separate sections.

Make sure you hide all loose ends because next you will be gluing the crocheted piece to the cork.

Finishing Up

check and make sure that your crocheted piece covers the cork coaster completely. Make any alterations if needed.

Lay the crocheted piece down on a flat surface with the Wrong Side Facing you (the side with all the threads)

Heat up the glue gun and start applying glue to the center of the cork and work outward in a spiral. Be careful not to put too much glue or it will push up in between the stitches and it will show.

Then with the "Wrong Side" of crochet piece facing you, place the pre-glued cork onto the crocheted piece making sure it is centered. Press down firmly and make sure everything is secure.

-And That is it! You're done!
